RAIC Labs to Further Enhance AI Change Detection Capabilities in Space Defense as Part of U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC)’s SDA TAP Lab Apollo Accelerator, Cohort 4
RAIC Labs, a leader in AI-powered computer vision analytics, is proud to announce its selection to participate in the U.S. Space Force Space (USSF) Systems Command’s (SSC) Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Tools Applications and Processing (TAP) Lab Apollo Accelerator, Cohort 4.
By joining this elite group of innovators, RAIC Labs will collaborate with other cutting-edge companies to address critical challenges in space defense. RAIC’s technology will produce enhanced ability to monitor, protect, and secure the space domain.
RAIC Labs’ inclusion in Cohort 4 follows its success in Cohort 3, where it was recognized as a winning solution for demonstrating advanced AI change detection capabilities. Using commercially available imagery, RAIC detected and categorized significant changes in space-related environments to show its value for Space Domain Awareness.
During the three-month SDA TAP Lab Apollo Accelerator cycle, RAIC Labs will continue to refine and validate its solutions for SDA. RAIC Labs will further develop and integrate its AI-powered change detection algorithms into space defense operations to rapidly analyze satellite and space-based images and provide real-time insights.
This participation highlights RAIC Labs' commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI and computer vision insights and analytics for real-world, mission-critical applications. By working alongside top industry peers, RAIC Labs aims to enhance capabilities in space domain awareness and, support the U.S. Space Force’s efforts to maintain superiority in space.
About the Apollo Accelerator
The Apollo Accelerator, an initiative of the SDA TAP Lab, is a collaborative tech accelerator for industry, academia, and government to solve critical SDA challenges. Participants are given access to a sandbox with data, services, a software dev environment, and the ability to host apps. The accelerator will run in 3-month cycles, up to 4 times a year, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
