From seabirds to meteors, insights from RAIC help make an impact

Since the inception of RAIC Labs in 2019, part of our mission has always included undertaking projects that seek to positively impact the world. It’s with this mission in mind that the AI for Impact program was born.

In essence, the AI for Impact program aims to diminish the barriers to traditional AI technologies by minimizing the cost, labor, and time required to see a project through to completion. This approach is particularly important for impact-based organizations, given the limited budget and resources in which these organizations operate.

Our AI for Impact initiatives are designed to harness AI's capabilities to drive meaningful change across various critical areas, including conservation, search and rescue operations, humanitarian aid, and climate action. By deploying RAIC to handle laborious, time-consuming, and sometimes humanly impossible tasks, our partners can free up resources to focus on higher-value activities that directly impact human-centric causes and improve their overall effectiveness.

Working with educational institutions and nonprofits, we work to help them on their missions to better understand the world we live in and take care of it.

Let's talk

But it’s more than just the power and sophistication of the technology. RAIC Labs has acted as a partner to our work, in every sense of the word. At this stage in our relationship, we tend to think of RAIC Labs not as our AI provider, but as Carbon Yield’s actual AI team. That’s the level of care and collaboration they’re bringing to the table.
